How to check and link PAN - Aadhar card

Government of India mandates everyone to link their Pan and Aadhaar card, while they've extended the deadline to June 30, 2021 its prudent to check and link the cards now to escape last minute rush. Here is how you can check and link your Pan and Aadhaar:

Checking if you PAN is already linked to Aadhaar:

Step 1: Visit https://www1.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-FilingGS/Services/AadhaarPreloginStatus.html

Step 2: On the screen enter your PAN and Aadhaar details and click on 'View Link Aadhaar Status' button

Step 3: You'll see the link status. In case it's not linked see below.

Linking PAN and Aadhaar:

Step 1: visit: https://www1.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-FilingGS/Services/LinkAadhaarHome.html

Step 2: enter the details on the screen

Step 3: Request OTP - please note that OTP will be sent to you Aadhaar registered mobile number

Step 4: Click on 'Link Aadhaar'
